We opened Philippe Restaurant + Lounge one year ago this month. I am so happy that the restaurant has been such a success and that you keep coming back to enjoy what we enjoy doing. I have to thank all our clients and staff for making this restaurant a success. We did not do too much to celebrate, but we did get to eat up the delicious cake that Jami, our pastry chef, made for the occasion.
For Valentine’s Day we prepared a special Aphrodisiac menu with some of the most tempting morsels. Many of you showed up to try all 14 different aphrodisiac ingredients. Here is a list of a those ingredients and more as well as their explanations.
This year was our first time to participate at the Houston Rodeo Best Bites competition. It was a lot of preparation and hard work but it was worth it and I’m glad we had the Rodeo experience. At last, we announced this month that I have been awarded the title of Maitre Cuisinier de France. I am honored to have received this award and I am proud to share it with other Chefs around the world. You can read more about it here.
